Volunteer with Peace Child Peace Child offers some of the most exciting most valuable, most responsible volunteer opportunities available to young people on the planet. If you get involved with Peace Child don't expect a relaxing time, doing photocopying or making coffee. You will be responsible for your own time management, your own presentations and project management - the kind of responsibility you would have to wait years to secure in most paid employment. But that's why Peace Child is valuable to young people: when you come out of your volunteer involvement with Peace Child, you are ready for anything. You will know what you want to do with your life - you will have re-ordered your priorities and sorted out what gives you real satisfaction in your life! There are a myriad of ways to become involved. Choose the one that suits you

The salone volunteer scheme Peace Child Sierra Leone has set-up a volunteer exchange program, whereby young people from all over the world can come to do a work placement in the field of their choice e.g. education, health, environment, human rights. For a small fee volunteers are supplied with food and accommodation during their entire stay in Sierra Leone. Although our major areas of focus are those described above, we are continually exploring other possibilities for intervention, including widespread awareness campaigns targeting youth, gender-focused activities and the continual expansion of our office, training of staff and improvement of the services we can provide. So you can see, there is plenty of work to be getting on with, and also plenty of room for exploring whatever interests you most. The organization is ‘grass-roots’ – you will be spending your time with locals, living a predominantly local lifestyle – and it is run by young people, so above all we are flexible and fun! !!You can become part of the Peace Child team too!! Please write to info@peacechildsl.org with a short introduction of yourself and we will start the application procedure.
